“Tech Square is absolutely the nucleus of Atlanta’s startup ecosystem, thereby also being the nucleus of the Southeast startup ecosystem” said Paul Judge, co-founder of TechSquare Labs and Panoramic Ventures. Judge, a previous tenant of Tech Square before creating his own incubator, was recently quoted in an article for the Atlanta Business Chronicle on Google’s upcoming Atlanta expansion.
Google recently confirmed a massive expansion in Midtown Atlanta where the company will occupy 500,000 square feet on West Peachtree Street. The company already maintains an office on Tenth Street and a data center in Douglas County.
Also taking advantage of Atlanta’s startup ecosystem are Microsoft and Airbnb where both companies are planning new locations. With the close proximity to high-ranking colleges and universities, a rich startup ecosystem and several Fortune 500 company headquarters, Atlanta is poised for continued growth as a nationally recognized hub for technology.
TUFF is the original Master Developer of Tech Square and continues to support the success and growth of this world class innovation district.
