Teresa’s role was expanded in 2025 to Vice President of Community Engagement, where she leads efforts to strengthen partnerships and advance the innovation ecosystems of TUFF’s network of stakeholders.
In her role, Teresa cultivates strategic relationships to enhance collaboration between higher education, industry, and local communities. She works closely with institutions and stakeholders to align TUFF’s expertise in mission-driven real estate with long-term institutional and economic growth.
She joined TUFF in 2022 as Chief of Staff to President & CEO Kevin Byrne, leveraging 30 years of experience in business and people management, data analytics, and fiscal strategy. The opportunity to take on a leadership role in Tech Square’s thriving innovation ecosystem was a perfect match for her passion for business, entrepreneurship, and impact-driven real estate.
Before TUFF, Teresa spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs in strategic and operational leadership roles, including Head of Technology Product Services, overseeing $400M in assets. She also served as the fiscal liaison for multi-billion-dollar headquarters construction projects in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, and Tokyo. In 2011, she moved to London as Chief of Staff to the Managing Director of EMEA Infrastructure, a pivotal experience that deepened her global perspective and entrepreneurial drive.
In 2014, she founded CraTerS Incorporated, a real estate and hospitality venture. Its first project was the renovation and ownership of a 5,500-square-foot B&B in North Carolina. From 2018 to 2021, the Inn at Glen Alpine was TripAdvisor’s #1 property in the NC Mountains, and in 2019, MSN.com named it NC’s #1 property.
Teresa is a proven change agent known for defining and managing complex programs in fast-paced global environments. She brings a detail-oriented, results-driven approach to leadership, ensuring quality execution and impactful delivery.
Now based in Midtown Atlanta, Teresa enjoys exploring the city, cooking, and traveling, always drawing inspiration from new places and cultures. She holds a BS in Corporate Finance from Binghamton University.
